UNLIMITED HOURS, UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS - ONE SET FEE - "Wow this means I'll just leave my Internet on 24hrs a day even when I'm not really using it!" -WRONG!

The purpose of offering a totally unlimited package is so that at the end of the month you are not hit with extra usage fees or download fees, as many other companies charge. You know exactly what your Internet Bill will be regardless of how much you use it. If you have a heap of assignments due in a month (Hey aren't they always due at the same time!) Then by all means stay on the net 'till your eyes can't stay open, but please also consider other users and do not HOG the lines when you're not really using the net. At Geecko we make sure we allocate plenty of lines for our users as nothing is worse than getting busy signals when you really need to get online. That is why we disconnect you every 3 Hrs to give everyone a fair go. A major item in our Acceptable Use Policy is that users do not use software that automatically reconnects when they are disconnected as this service is not designed to be a permanent modem connection.

Geecko Internet Acceptable Use Policy

Definitions

"Geecko" means Geecko registered business BN97827586
"Service" means dial-up access to the world-wide computer network known as the Internet including information services, computer resources, disk storage and computer communication resources.
"Customer" means the person or persons entering this agreement to purchase the Service.

Agreement

This Agreement constitutes the full and entire understanding and agreement between the parties with regard to the supply of the Service.

Provision of Service

Geecko shall provide the Customer with the Service. The Service shall be available 24 hours a day, seven days a week except for service maintenance times or other unforseen events. Geecko will provide Customer with a Login ID code, unique password, telephone number and other log-in information that is required to enable connection to the Service.

Charges
The charges for using the Service are detailed in this Agreement. Geecko retains the right to alter these charges from time to time and Customer shall be given one month's written notice, by letter, facsimile or electronic mail, of any such alterations.
Customer agrees to pay the charges via credit card which shall be debited automatically with the registration fee and first months connection fee, with subsequent monthly fees due on the 1st of each month. All new accounts started shall be charged on a pro rata rate according to the number of days left in the month at time of joining. Should this credit card number expire or should Geecko otherwise be unable to debit valid charges to this credit card number, Geecko may immediately and without notice withdraw Customer's access to the Service. Payment shall also be accepted in the form of cheque, money order,bank transfer etc. however these alternative payment methods shall be subject to any surchage fees applicable.

Customer's Responsibilities

• The Customer shall use the Specified Service only for its own purposes and shall not make the use of the Specified Service available to any third party nor resell this service.
• The Customer shall not use this service to send, publish, or access material which may considered illegal according to state or federal law.
• The Customer shall not use this service in order to "hack" or breach the security of any machines, resources or networks.
• Three hourly sessions apply. The customer can manually reconnect to gain access to the Internet immediately after a session time out. The customer must not reconnect to gain access to the Internet using “automatic” reconnection as defined below.
  Automatic reconnection is defined as: “the use of a device and/or program for the purpose of redialling a modem to establish an Internet connection.”
  Automatic reconnection can be detected using server connection logs. If a regular pattern is detected that the customer’s modem reconnects automatically during a 24-hour period a written warning notice will be issued to the Customer. Ignoring such notice will lead to immediate disconnection, until further notice.
• The Customer understands this service is not designed to be a permanent Internet connection.
• The Customer shall not make use of the Specified Service to facilitate and further the publication and distribution of chain letters, unsolicited commercial or bulk email (Spam).
• The Customer shall not make use of any Service to send or forward malicious messages and/or viruses to cause annoyance and/or disruption to another user's service
• The Customer shall not forge or create the use of a header and/or address to tend to mislead where a message has originated from
• The customer shall not abuse the use of the email service by sending excessively large files which may impact on network performance and the recipient's mail service.
• The Customer shall not use its own personal website for the use of corporate or business use.
• The Customer shall not publish, hold or cause to be held or accessed via its website material that is of an illegal nature and/or contrary to the terms and conditions.
• The customer shall not disclose usernames or passwords for this service to any third party.
• The Customer agrees not to hold Geecko liable in respect to any loss or damage in business or personal matters as a result of any interruption or the quality of the Service
• The use of the Service is at Customer's sole risk and is entirely Customer's responsibility. Geecko does not monitor or control the content and information accessed via the Service and Geecko shall not be held responsible in any way for any content or information accessed via the Service.
• The Customer hereby indemnifies Geecko in respect to any loss or damage action claim suit or proceeding against Geecko by any person arising out of the use of the Service by the Customer including but not limited to the transmission of any illegal and / or fraudulent material.

All notices to be served on either party by the other shall be in writing and shall be sent by hand delivery, post or facsimile, or electronic mail to the parties hereto at their respective addresses as specified on the Agreement form.

Geecko reserves the right to suspend or terminate any of the Customer's Service(s) upon identifying of the Customer's contravention of any one or more of the Customer's responsibilities.
